All three of these editorials employ a particular rhetorical style because each editorial is promoting a way to help homeless shelters in Columbia. Each piece talks about a way to better serve Columbia's homeless. The articles are all alike in that they want to help the homless people around Columbia and improve the shelters around Columbia for the homeless poeple. The first article, is talking about how Columbia City Council is denying the Oliver Gospel Mission's request to have property rezoned. It goes on to talk about the ongoing issue that Columbia is having with homless people as well. The second article also talks about Columbia City Council not helping the request, but goes on to talk about the mission in more detail. The third article, talks about the plan that local business leaders have developed to help the homeless. It talks a lot about the local business leaders and what they are doing to help out the homless shelters. All of the articles have the same idea and are trying to get the same point across, but each has a different way of approaching the problem.
